Yes! You can ship your order straight to the recipient. Simply enter their address at checkout, and your gift will arrive beautifully packaged.
Absolutely. Add your message at checkout, and we’ll handwrite it on a card to include with your package—no pricing information will ever be shown.
No. Gift orders never include pricing or invoices inside the box. Your order confirmation is sent only to you by email.

CANDLE CARE
For the best results, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the surface, preventing tunneling and maximizing fragrance.
Our candles are made with pure, natural wax and fragranced only with all-natural oils. Because they contain no synthetic stabilizers, they’re more sensitive to their environment. To keep your candle looking and smelling its best, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, humidity, and excessive heat. Proper care helps preserve both the fragrance and the beauty of your candle.
We recommend trimming the wick to ¼ inch before each burn. A shorter wick helps your candle burn cleanly, reduces soot, and ensures a longer-lasting candle.
Absolutely! Our handmade concrete jars are designed to be repurposed. Once your candle is complete, gently clean out any remaining wax and wick tab, and enjoy your jar as a planter, storage pot, or decorative piece.
For safety, stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains. This protects the jar and your surfaces from overheating.
Uneven burning can happen if the first burn was too short. Don’t worry—light your candle again, and allow it to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges. This usually evens things out.
Our candles are made with all-natural wax and fragrance oils, but as with all candles, we recommend keeping them out of reach of children and pets, and never leaving a lit candle unattended.

At this time, The Pure Light Company ships within the United States only. While we’d love to spread the glow of our candles worldwide in the future, we’re currently focused on serving our amazing U.S. customers. Thank you for your understanding!
Unless otherwise noted on the product listing, we typically dispatch orders the same day if placed before 2 PM Central Time. Our shipping partners, UPS and USPS, generally deliver within 3–5 business days, barring any unforeseen circumstances like inclement weather. You’ll receive tracking details in your order confirmation email so you can follow your package’s journey to you
We ship with our trusted carriers - USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier is chosen based on the best option for your location and package size.
Yes! As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow it right to your door.
YES! We ship for free over $50 and occasionally run site-wide free shipping promotions - be sure to join our mailing list to stay updated. Otherwise, shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
We take great care in packaging our candles, but if something arrives broken, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send us a photo of the damage, and we’ll be happy to make it right.
If you need to adjust your order, contact us as quickly as possible. While we can’t always guarantee changes once an order is in process, we’ll do our very best to help.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Because our products are handmade and fragranced, we’re unable to accept returns once an item has been opened or used. We want every candle to arrive in perfect condition, so if there’s an issue, please reach out—we’ll be happy to help.
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we may be able to adjust or cancel it. Contact us as quickly as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We take great care in packaging, but if something arrives broken, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We’ll promptly replace or refund the item.
Fragrance is such a personal experience. While we can’t accept used candles, we recommend trying our Mini Concrete Candles, Mini Mists, or Tealights before committing to a full-size jar. That way, you can find the fragrance that speaks to you.
Once your return or claim is approved, we process refunds the same day. The time it takes for the funds to appear back on your card or account depends on your payment provider (credit card company, bank, or PayPal). Most providers post refunds within 3–7 business days. Replacements are shipped right away so you can enjoy your items without delay.
